Celebrate the Magic of the Holidays at The Magic House!
ST. LOUIS, MO โ [December 4, 2024] This holiday season, The Magic House, St. Louis Childrenโs Museum, is inviting families to make memories that will last a lifetime! Whether you’re starting new traditions, spending time with out-of-town relatives, or just looking for a fun and festive day out, we are the perfect place to celebrate!
Story Time with Mrs. Claus
Experience the holiday magic from December 3 through 23 with a special visit from Mrs. Claus, traveling all the way from the North Pole! Mrs. Claus will share her favorite winter stories at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm in our cozy Story Time Theater, all decked out for the season. Along with one of Santaโs elves, sheโll lead kids in festive songs and dances, including a jolly sing-along of Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeerโand Santa himself will make a surprise appearance to join in the fun! Kids will get to shake jingle bells along to the music during the performance.
In addition to story time, there will be a variety of hands-on holiday activities, including making reindeer antlers, snowman puppets, and more.
Extended Holiday Hours
We know the holidays are a busy time, so weโre extending our hours to give families more time to explore, play, and learn together! Starting December 18, 2024 through January 5, 2025, The Magic House (Kirkwood) and MADE for Kids (City of St. Louis) will be open with the following schedule:
Monday โ Saturday: 9:30 am โ 5:00 pm
Sunday: 10:30 am โ 5:00 pm
*Please note: The Magic House will be closed on December 25 and will close early at 4:00 pm on December 31.

About The Magic House, St. Louis Childrenโs Museum
The Magic House is a not-for-profit participatory museum that provides hands-on learning experiences that spark imagination, pique curiosity, enhance creativity and develop problem-solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder, joy, and magic. Serving more than 550,000 visitors annually, the Museum has 55,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits designed for children ages 2-11 years. In 2019, the Museum opened a 7,000 square foot satellite location in the City of St. Louis, MADE for Kids, that contains a Makers Space, Art Studio, Design Lab and Entrepreneur Marketplace geared for children 4-14 years.
