Looking for a family-friendly Spring Break activities for kids in St. Louis? We’ve got you covered! The Magic House is the perfect place to let your kids explore, learn, play and most importantly – have fun!

All-Day Fun

For just $15 per person, you get access to all of our amazing exhibits—ALL day long! The only extra costs are for lunch or anything you grab from our Museum Shop. 

We’ll be extending our hours for Spring Break from March 14 – 30!  

  • Monday –  Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
  • Sundays: 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  
Special Events

March 14 Pi Day: Join us in the science lab for Pi Day fun, including Slime Time shows throughout the day!

March 15 On-Stage Performance Series: Ignite Theatre Company brings the Hundred Acre Wood to life with scenes and songs from Winnie-the-Pooh.

March 17 St. Patrick’s Day: Get your green on and join us for some festive, creative fun in the art studio!

March 20 Cardinal’s Day: Kick off baseball season with us and the St. Louis Cardinals! Decorate Cardinals pennants, snap a photo at our baseball-themed photo op, meet Fredbird and more! Kids 12 and under in Cardinal’s gear get half-price admission. Learn more!

All Month Long
Enjoy Story Time at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in Story Time Theater and spring-themed art projects in our Art Studio.

Exhibits Your Kids Will Love 

There’s always something new to discover at The Magic House. This Spring Break, don’t miss out on these family activities: 

Super WHY!: Super Readers, Power Up!  This exhibit brings the beloved PBS KIDS® show to life! Step into the magical Storybrook Village to explore classic stories and fairytales, and even become superheroes yourself! Check out our latest reel! 

Argentina’s Niños Ready to take a trip to South America? This exhibit lets kids experience the vibrant culture of Argentina! Kids can play soccer (watch out, Messi!), make empanadas, and even paint the colorful streets of La Boca.  

Story Time Magic If your kids are fans of classic stories like Winnie the Pooh, Peter Rabbit, and Goodnight Moon, this exhibit will be a total hit. Plus, they can dress up and put on their own shows in the Story Time Theater. 

Parent Tip – The Magic House is all about hands-on discovery, so let your kids take the lead when it comes to exploring these Spring Break activities!

Take Advantage of the Family-Friendly Café

No need to leave the fun for lunch! The Picnic Basket Café is located on the Museum’s main floor and is perfect for refueling, with kid-friendly meals like mac-and-cheese, sandwiches, and salads. If it’s a nice day, grab your food and head outside the beautiful garden to eat. 

Parent Tip: Want to make lunchtime a little easier? Pre-order your food for a stress-free experience, less time waiting, more time playing!

The Charm of Kirkwood 

When you’re done exploring The Magic House and your kids have had their fill of our Spring Break activities, take some time to stroll through Downtown Kirkwood. It’s just blocks away and filled with family-friendly restaurants, shopping and local coffee shops. 

We can’t wait to welcome you to The Magic House for unforgettable Spring Break fun!
